Numark unveils N4, a 4-Channel Dj Controller with Built-In Mixer. The official launch event will happen at BPM 2011 in Birmingham, England from October 1st – October 3rd. Serato Audio Research unveils Serato DJ Intro, a new software that offers a fun and intuitive DJ experience. Serato DJ Intro allows for traditional two deck mixing of digital music files from a computer and also work great with a controller. Numark announces the redesign of the popular DJ|iO portable USB audio interface. Numark will showcase DJ|iO at Booth # 400 at the 2011 Summer NAMM show from July 21st- 23rd in Nashville, TN.
Originally introduced in 2007, Numark DJ|iO is a PC and Mac compatible USB audio interface which features 24-bit audio with a sample rate of 44.1kHz. Numark DJ|iO is compact and rugged for easy transportation and powerful enough to provide solutions for a wide range of audio I/O needs specific to the DJ. Featuring ultra-low latency audio via ASIO drivers, DJ|iO has two independent pairs of RCA stereo outputs that can be configured in software to route independent players or a mix of master and cueing output. A mic input with adjustable gain is provided to mix into stereo pair #1 and a ¼” stereo headphone output to listen to stereo pair #2 in order to preview the mix. The DJ|iO is USB bus powered.
Numark and Algoriddim announced immediate availability of iDj live, their portable Dj Controller for iPad, iPhone and iPod. Numark showcased iDJ Live at the 2011 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California this past January.
iDJ Live is an iOS-DJ controller designed to enable anyone to be an iPad, iPhone or iPod DJ. Numark has partnered with Algoriddim, the makers of the highly popular djay software, to bring support for iDJ Live to the djay app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The iDJ Live system enables users to mix and scratch using their music from their iTunes library in algoriddim’s djay app or other CoreMIDI-enabled DJ apps.
