AES Pro Audio RPN1101 Channel In a Box comprises a 1U high enclosure with a depth of 300mm (excluding connectors and control knobs). It has an internal power supply. The objective was to design a product that maximised the facilities that are available on the VR sub-assemblies.

The system presents significant cost saving opportunities when compared to Hard Disk Recorders or other DAW recorder systems. Live-Recorder systems can record up to 128Ch@24bit/48kHz or 64Ch@24bit/96kHz.
